Oklahoma High School Basketball - Mounds knocked off by Salina
February 9, 2024: Mounds, OK 74047 The Salina Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Mounds Golden Eagles to 49 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Locust Grove for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Salina will battle a Pirates team coming off a 62-40 non-league loss to Stilwell (Stilwell, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 5-15.
The Golden Eagles (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Kellyville (Kellyville, OK). The Ponies enter the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Kellyville ran past Morris (Morris, OK), 80-64, in a league contest.
