Illinois High School Basketball - Schaumburg Christian crushes Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy
February 9, 2024: Rockford, IL 61101 Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy Guardians (Rockford, IL), 71-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Schaumburg Christian upgrades its record to 6-12 on the season. The Conquerors travel to Westminster Christian (Elgin, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-16. Westminster Christian won 45-41 in their recent non-league bout against Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL)
Next up, the Guardians play the Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Green Giants go into the bout with a 7-18 record after their 43-35 non-league loss to Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL).
