Texas High School Basketball - Penelope overwhelms Trinidad
February 9, 2024: Trinidad, TX 75163 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Penelope Wolverines (Penelope, TX) and the host Trinidad Trojans (Trinidad, TX), saw Penelope's basketball squad wallop Trinidad by a tally of 85-40.
With the victory, Penelope improves its record to 24-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Milford (Milford, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 14-6.
Next up, the Trojans play the Avalon Eagles (Avalon, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Trinidad will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-18 record after their 48-35 league loss to Coolidge (Coolidge, TX).
