Michigan High School Basketball - Saline tops Pioneer
February 9, 2024: Saline, MI 48176 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) and the visiting Pioneer Pioneers (Ann Arbor, MI), saw Saline's basketball squad knock off Pioneer by a count of 67-49.
With the victory, Saline upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI) to play the Railsplitters in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Railsplitters come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Lincoln won 56-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Bedford (Temperance, MI)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Huron River Rats (Ann Arbor, MI) in a Southeastern - Red challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Pioneer will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The River Rats come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 58-42 league win over Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI).
