The TEACH basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Portsmouth Christian Patriots to 45 in the non-league triumph on Friday.
The now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summit Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. TEACH will meet a Eagles team coming off a 65-40 non-league win over Yeshivas Aish Kodesh Talmudical Academy (Norfolk, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-20.
The Patriots (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against Denbigh Baptist Christian (Newport News, VA). The Minutemen enter the VISAA Division IV contest with a 14-9 record. In their last contest, Denbigh Baptist Christian was nudged by Hampton Christian Academy (Hampton, VA), 72-62, in a league contest.
