Rhode Island High School Basketball - St. Raphael Academy crushes Providence Country Day
February 9, 2024: Pawtucket, RI 02860 St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI), 67-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Raphael Academy upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Saints travel to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Pilgrim lost 62-32 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI)
Next up, the Knights play the Shea Raiders (Pawtucket, RI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Providence Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 60-44 non-league loss to St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI).
