Missouri High School Basketball - Monroe City knocked off by Centralia
February 9, 2024: Centralia, MO 65240 The Centralia Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Monroe City Panthers to 29 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmyra for a Clarence Cannon contest on Saturday, February 10. Centralia will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-18 non-league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 17-4.
The Panthers (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Kirksville (Kirksville, MO). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Kirksville was knocked off by Fulton (Fulton, MO), 40-29, in a league bout.
