The Chassell Panthers (Chassell, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Johnston Speedboys (Bessemer, MI), 50-47 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Jeffers (Painesdale, MI). The Jets go into the Copper Mountain test with a 6-8 record.
