February 9, 2024: New Lothrop, MI 48460 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) and the visiting Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI), saw New Lothrop's basketball squad wallop Chesaning by a tally of 52-28.
With the victory, New Lothrop improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Goodrich (Goodrich, MI) to confront the Martians in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 12. The Martians come into the challenge with a record of 17-0. Goodrich won 73-29 in their recent league challenge against Brandon (Ortonville, MI)
Next up, the Indians confront the Alma Panthers (Alma, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Chesaning will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 43-37 league loss to Garber (Essexville, MI).
