The Coal City Coalers routed the visiting Reed-Custer Comets basketball team by a final score of 61-34 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Coalers face the Manteno Panthers (Manteno, IL) in a game, on Tuesday, February 13. Coal City will attempt to move on its 14-13 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 45-36 league win over Lisle (Lisle, IL).
