The Lake Zurich Bears basketball team (Lake Zurich, IL), was overwhelmed 71-50 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting IMG Academy Ascenders (Bradenton, FL)

The Ascenders now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeastern Prep Academy for a battle on Tuesday, February 13. IMG Academy will confront a Falcons team coming off a 60-27 league win over Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 9-6.

The Bears (12-11) will now prepare for their battle against Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record.
