North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Academy fells South Stanly
February 9, 2024: Norwood, NC 28128 Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), 61-42 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Union Academy improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Mount Pleasant lost 60-38 in their recent non-league challenge against North Stanly (New London, NC)
Next up, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls confront the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. South Stanly will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-17 record after their 100-0 non-league loss to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC).
