The Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) basketball felled the visiting Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC), 42-34 in Wednesday's league test.

The Bruins (6-2) will now prepare for their test against York (York, SC). The Cougars go into the AAAA Region 3 test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, York thwarted Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC), 65-46, in a league test.

The Copperheads now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Indian Land for a AAAA Region 3 test on Friday, February 12. Catawba Ridge will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 81-39 league loss to South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-7.
