Indiana High School Basketball - Connersville crushes East Central

February 10, 2022: St. Leon, IN 47012

Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), 51-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Connersville upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to New Palestine (New Palestine, IN) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 12. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 15-4. New Palestine won 63-60 in their recent league bout against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Batesville Bulldogs (Batesville, IN) in a Eastern Indiana bout, on Saturday, February 12. East Central will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 41-40 league win over Rushville (Rushville, IN).
