Connecticut High School Basketball - Pomperaug edges New Fairfield
February 10, 2022: Southbury, CT 06488 The Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) basketball nipped the visiting New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT), 49-47 in Thursday's league test.
The Panthers (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Joel Barlow (Redding, CT). The Falcons go into the Southwest test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Joel Barlow was tipped by Newtown (Newtown, CT), 55-39, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they host Brookfield for a Southwest test on Tuesday, February 15. New Fairfield will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 73-45 league loss to Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-10.
