Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), 50-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ironwood Ridge upgrades its record to 16-11 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Fairfax (Laveen, AZ) to clash with the Stampede in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Stampede go into the bout with a record of 19-2. Fairfax lost 54-37 in their recent non-league bout against Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ)
