The Mountain Island Day Community Charter Mariners basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was routed 41-12 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC)

The Knights now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Preparatory Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, February 11. Lee Park Prep will battle a Patriots team coming off a 52-21 league win over Carolina Christian (Locust, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 17-3.
