The Jefferson Cougars ran past the visiting Washington Patriots basketball team by a final score of 59-45 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 12. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 15-3 record after their 49-48 league loss to Morgantown (Morgantown, WV).
