February 10, 2023: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 In Friday's non-league match, the host Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests basketball team scored a decisive 91-60 triumph over the Avalon Black Knights.
In their next game, the Wildebeests meet the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 13. Sandy Spring Friends will attempt to move on its 20-8 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 18-4 record after their 74-47 non-league win over Flint Hill (Oakton, VA).
With the defeat, Avalon moves to 4-10 on the year. The Black knights travel to St. Albans (Washington, DC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, February 11.
