In Friday's non-league match, the host Buena Colts basketball team scored a tight 64-61 triumph over the Desert Edge Scorpions.

In their next game, the Colts meet the Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 16. Buena will attempt to move on its 14-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 20-7 record after their 78-54 non-league loss to Perry (Gilbert, AZ).
