The Cook Hornets tipped the visiting Clinch County Panthers basketball team by a final score of 68-61 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA) in a AA Region 1 game, on Saturday, February 11. Cook will attempt to move on its 8-16 season record. The Purple Hurricane enter the game with a 10-14 record after their 69-64 league win over Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA).
