Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE) and the visiting Schuyler Warriors (Schuyler, NE), saw Fairbury's basketball squad wallop Schuyler by a tally of 62-36.

With the victory, Fairbury improves its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The Jeffs host Falls City (Falls City, NE) to confront the Tigers in a C1 District 1 challenge on Friday, February 17. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Falls City won 48-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Buena Vista (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Schuyler will attempt to improve on its 0-18 season record. The come into the challenge with a 1-20 record after their 37-21 non-league win over Cedar Bluffs (Cedar Bluffs, NE).
