Ohio High School Basketball - Fairland holds off Rock Hill
February 10, 2023: Ironton, OH 45638 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Fairland Dragons (Proctorville, OH) and the host Rock Hill Redmen (Ironton, OH), saw Fairland's basketball squad hold off Rock Hill by a tally of 55-53.
With the victory, Fairland improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Huntington (Huntington, WV) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Huntington won 59-45 in their recent league challenge against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV)
Next up, the Redmen confront the Ironton Fighting Tigers (Ironton, OH) in a Ohio Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Rock Hill will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Fighting Tigers come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 79-61 non-league win over Teays Valley Christian (Scott Depot, WV).
