Kansas High School Basketball - Galena tops St. Mary's-Colgan
February 10, 2023: Galena, KS 66739 Galena Bulldogs (Galena, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers (Pittsburg, KS), 51-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Galena upgrades its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Columbus (Columbus, KS) to play the Titans in a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee bout on Friday, February 17. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 14-3.
Next up, the Panthers play the St. Paul Indians (St. Paul, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. St. Mary's-Colgan will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 47-39 non-league loss to Crest (Colony, KS).
