California High School Basketball - Gunderson knocked off by Gilroy
February 10, 2023: Gilroy, CA 95020 The Gilroy Mustangs basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Gunderson Grizzlies to 45 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yerba Buena for a Blossom Valley - West Valley contest on Tuesday, February 14. Gilroy will battle a Aztec Warriors team coming off a 52-41 league loss to Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA). The Aztec Warriors record now stands at 2-21.
The Grizzlies (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against San Jose (San Jose, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Blossom Valley - West Valley contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, San Jose was defeated by Leigh (San Jose, CA), 71-57, in a non-league contest.
