New York High School Basketball - Schroon Lake tops Lake Placid

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Schroon Lake Wildcats (Schroon Lake, NY) and the host Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY), saw Schroon Lake's basketball squad knock off Lake Placid by a tally of 66-49.

With the victory, Schroon Lake improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Fort Ann (Fort Ann, NY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 13. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Fort Ann won 44-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Corinth (Corinth, NY)

Next up, the Bombers play the Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain Valley challenge, on Monday, February 13. Lake Placid will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record.
