Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Manhattan Tigers (Manhattan, MT) and the visiting Powell County Wardens (Deer Lodge, MT), saw Manhattan's basketball squad knock off Powell County by a tally of 51-41.

With the victory, Manhattan improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sweet Grass County (Big Timber, MT) to play the Sheepherders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Sheepherders come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. Sweet Grass County won 73-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Red Lodge (Red Lodge, MT)

Next up, the Wardens play the Arlee (Arlee, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Powell County will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 67-27 non-league loss to Granite (Philipsburg, MT).
