Illinois High School Basketball - West Aurora crushes Aurora East

February 10, 2024: Aurora, IL 60505

West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 86-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Aurora upgrades its record to 19-10 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Minooka (Minooka, IL) to clash with the Indians in a SouthWest Prairie bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 11-18. Minooka won 63-45 in their recent league bout against Oswego (Oswego, IL)

Next up, the Tomcats clash with the Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL) in a Upstate Eight bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Aurora East will attempt to upgrade on its 8-21 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 26-4 record after their 59-41 non-league win over Argo (Summit, IL).
