New Jersey High School Basketball - Bloomfield trounces Newark Academy
February 10, 2024: Bloomfield, NJ 07003 The Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ), 59-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bengals (11-14) will now prepare for their test against West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, West Essex walloped Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ), 71-63, in a non-league test.
The Minutemen now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they host West Morris Mendham for a non-league test on Thursday, February 15.
