Minnesota High School Basketball - Cloquet nips Central
February 10, 2024: Norwood-Young America, MN 55397 Cloquet Lumberjacks (Cloquet, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Central Raiders (Norwood-Young America, MN), 61-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cloquet upgrades its record to 14-10 on the season. The Lumberjacks travel to Esko (Esko, MN) to play the Eskomos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Eskomos go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Esko lost 68-58 in their recent non-league bout against Johnson (St. Paul, MN)
Next up, the Raiders play the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers (Waterville, MN) in a AA Section 2 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-17 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 57-47 non-league win over United South Central (Wells, MN).
