Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) and the visiting Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE), saw Pius X's basketball squad wallop Fremont by a tally of 83-43.

With the victory, Pius X improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts host Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE) to confront the Rockets in a A District TBD challenge on Friday, February 16. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Lincoln Northeast won 52-42 in their recent league challenge against Benson (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Fremont will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 64-57 non-league loss to Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE).
