Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), 46-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wheeling upgrades its record to 10-19 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 14-11. Conant lost 71-59 in their recent league bout against Fremd (Palatine, IL)

Next up, the Giants play the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Highland Park will attempt to upgrade on its 12-17 season record. The Trevians go into the bout with a 23-7 record after their 67-34 league win over Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL).
