South Dakota High School Basketball - Lemmon holds off New Underwood
February 10, 2024: New Underwood, SD 57761 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lemmon Cowboys (Lemmon, SD) and the host New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD), saw Lemmon's basketball squad hold off New Underwood by a tally of 65-60.
With the victory, Lemmon improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Faith (Faith, SD) to confront the Longhorns in a B Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Faith lost 79-72 in their recent non-league challenge against Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD)
Next up, the Tigers confront the White River Tigers (White River, SD) in a B Region 7 challenge, on Friday, February 16. New Underwood will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 58-50 non-league win over Canistota (Canistota, SD).
