Texas High School Basketball - Fairfield nips Martins Mill
February 10, 2024: Ben Wheeler, TX 75754 Fairfield Eagles (Fairfield, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX), 51-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fairfield upgrades its record to 31-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Rockdale (Rockdale, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 19-16. Rockdale lost 38-34 in their recent league bout against Troy (Troy, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Grapeland Sandies (Grapeland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Martins Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 29-5 season record. The Sandies go into the bout with a 12-14 record after their 63-34 league loss to Leon (Jewett, TX).
