In Saturday's non-league outing, the Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) basketball squad beat the visiting Milbank Bulldogs (Milbank, SD), by a count of 65-54.

The Mustangs (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD). The Fighting Cougars go into the A Region 3 outing with a 5-14 record. In their last outing, McCook Central/Montrose was topped by Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD), 47-46, in a non-league outing.
