The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) and the visiting Roscommon Bucks (Roscommon, MI), observed Alcona's basketball team overcome Roscommon by a margin of 50-42.

The Tigers (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rogers City (Rogers City, MI). The Hurons come into the North Star challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Rogers City defeated Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI), 53-15, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bucks battle the Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Roscommon will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record.
