Wisconsin High School Basketball - Merrill crushes Tomahawk
February 10, 2025: Merrill, WI 54452 The Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI) basketball crushed the visiting Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI), 85-24 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bluejays now possess a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln for a Wisconsin Valley bout on Thursday, February 13. Merrill will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 57-45 non-league win over Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-15.
With the loss, Tomahawk falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Hatchets travel to Lakeland (Minocqua, WI) to play the Thunderbirds in a Great Northern bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Lakeland lost 55-44 in their recent league bout against Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI)
