With the victory, English Valleys advances its record to 11-9 on the year. The Bears host North Cedar (Stanwood, IA) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. The Knights enter the match with a record of 3-15. North Cedar lost 69-16 in their recent non-league match against North Linn (Troy Mills, IA)
The Panthers now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 15. Pekin will encounter a Comets team coming off a 62-42 non-league loss to Keota (Keota, IA). The Comets record now stands at 0-23.
