In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Nocona Indians basketball team scored a big 84-39 triumph over the Hawley Bearcats.

The Indians (24-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hico (Hico, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 21-9 record. In their last contest, Hico smashed Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX), 48-27, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bearcats confront the Albany Lions (Albany, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 contest, on Friday, February 14. Hawley will attempt to better on its 22-12 season record.
