Georgia High School Soccer - Banneker toppled by Riverdale
February 10, 2025: College Park, GA 30349 Riverdale Raiders (Riverdale, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA), 9-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Riverdale moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to South Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, February 13. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Trojans now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to McIntosh for a 5A Region 3 test on Thursday, February 13. Banneker will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 10-0 league win over Morrow (Morrow, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-0.
