February 10, 2026: Waco, TX 76712 The Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) softball nipped the visiting Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX), 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coppell for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 12. Midway will encounter a Cowboys team coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Duncanville (Duncanville, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Round Rock moves to 0-1 on the season. The Dragons travel to Vandegrift (Austin, TX) to encounter the Vipers in a 6A Region IV District 25 outing on Tuesday, February 17. The Vipers enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Vandegrift won 16-15 in their recent non-league contest against McCallum (Austin, TX)
