Buena Vista Longhorns (Imperial, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sanderson Eagles (Sanderson, TX), 38-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Buena Vista upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Rankin (Rankin, TX) to play the Red Devils in a 1A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 20-7. Rankin won 90-54 in their recent league bout against Sanderson (Sanderson, TX)
