Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) and the host Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), saw North Point's basketball squad overcome Great Mills by a tally of 63-48.

With the victory, North Point improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Charles (Waldorf, MD) to confront the in a Southern Maryland challenge on Monday, February 14. The come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. St. Charles won 74-36 in their recent league challenge against McDonough (Pomfret, MD)

Next up, the Hornets confront the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Monday, February 14. Great Mills will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 65-63 league loss to Northern (Owings, MD).
