Rouse Raiders (Leander, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Leander Lions (Leander, TX), 53-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Rouse upgrades its record to 24-9 on the season. The Raiders host Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX) to play the Panthers in a 5A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 27-6. Liberty Hill won 73-38 in their recent league bout against East View (Georgetown, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 25 bout, on Tuesday, February 15. Leander will attempt to upgrade on its 15-17 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 10-21 record after their 49-38 league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, TX).
