February 11, 2022: Washington, PA 15301

Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA), 59-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Trinity upgrades its record to 5-15 on the campaign. The Hillers travel to Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, February 14. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 13-7. Elizabeth Forward lost 64-56 in their recent league bout against Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA)

Next up, the Lions play the Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 12. South Fayette will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Ironmen come into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 71-57 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA).
