Michigan High School Basketball - Brimley ripped by Sault Area
February 11, 2022: Brimley, MI 49715 The Sault Area Blue Devils basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Brimley Bays to 35 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cheboygan for a Straits Area contest on Thursday, February 17. Sault Area will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 60-35 non-league loss to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 8-10.
The Bays (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mid Peninsula (Rock, MI). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Mid Peninsula was routed by Cedarville (Cedarville, MI), 56-49, in a non-league contest.
