Colorado High School Basketball - Mancos overwhelms Northwest
February 11, 2022: Mancos, CO 81328 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mancos Bluejays (Mancos, CO) and the visiting Northwest Falcons (Shiprock, NM), saw Mancos's basketball squad wallop Northwest by a tally of 62-13.
With the victory, Mancos improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Telluride (Telluride, CO) to confront the Miners in a 2A/1A San Juan Basin challenge on Wednesday, February 16. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 0-12.
Next up, the Falcons confront the To'hajiilee Warriors (To'hajiilee, NM) in a A District 1 challenge, on Saturday, February 12. Northwest will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 57-34 non-league win over Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
