St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brush Arcs (Lyndhurst, OH), 59-40 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Vincent-St. Mary upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Lutheran East (Cleveland Heights, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Lutheran East won 68-52 in their recent non-league bout against Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH)
