New Jersey High School Basketball - Morris Catholic crushes Caldwell
February 11, 2023: Denville, NJ 07834 Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ), 68-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Morris Catholic upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, February 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Watchung Hills Regional won 86-84 in their recent non-league bout against The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ)
Next up, the Chiefs play the Seton Hall Prep Pirates (West Orange, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Caldwell will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 18-4 record after their 51-45 non-league win over Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ).
