Louisiana High School Basketball - Lafayette Christian Academy routs Catholic - N.I.
February 11, 2023: Lafayette, LA 70507 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA), by a count of 48-25.
The Knights (17-6) will now prepare for their outing against St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Cougars go into the 4A District 4 outing with a 28-4 record.
The Panthers now hold a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Franklin for a 2A District 8 outing on Monday, February 13. Catholic - N.I. will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 58-56 league win over Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 17-4.
